Bioética en la Red (Bioethics on the Web) is a platform that was launched in January 2001 and currently consists of three websites: Bioeticaweb, which is a database of articles on bioethics. Bioeticablog, collects short posts with personal opinions from some editors. Bioeticawiki, which is an encyclopedia of bioethics created collaboratively by users.
Objective: To facilitate information and dialogue on bioethical issues.
Approach: It is possible to advance our understanding of ethical truth, and to do so requires study and dialogue. All life is worthy of respect, but human life possesses dignity. It is necessary to participate in social debate by presenting one's own arguments and listening to those of others.
