Holds a law degree from Austral University in Argentina (2001) and a PhD in Law from the University of La Coruña, Spain (2008).He has also conducted research at the University of Illinois, USA (2007); Georgetown University, USA (2011); and the University of Navarra, Spain (2013).Professor Etcheverry was a doctoral fellow of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, part of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003-2004), and of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, through its programme for the training of research personnel (2004-2008). He was also a postdoctoral fellow of CONICET (2009-2011).In 2007, the Argentine Association of Philosophy of Law awarded him the 2007 ‘Young Researcher’ prize for his work: ‘Methodological issues that current analytical jurisprudence has not yet resolved’.In 2009, he was appointed Adjunct Professor of General Theory and Philosophy of Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).In 2010, he was appointed treasurer of the Argentine Association of Philosophy of Law.In 2017, he was appointed Full Professor of Introduction to Law and Philosophy of Law at Austral University.In 2012, he was appointed Career Researcher at CONICET through a competitive process. He is based at Austral University.
