PhD and Master's degree from USP (University of São Paulo). Leader of the CNPq Research Group: Deontic Logic, Language and Law. Visiting Scholar at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome. Member of the Société Internationale pour l'Étude de la Philosophie Médiévale (SIEPM) and the Brazilian Society for the Study of Medieval Philosophy (SBEFM). Areas of expertise: Philosophy and theory of law, history of logic, legal and deontic logic, Iberian and colonial scholasticism of the 16th and 17th centuries.
