Doctor of Law from the Pontifical Lateran University (Italy) and specialisation in Bioethics from the Regina Apostolorum University (Italy). Lawyer graduated from the Antenor Orrego Private University in Trujillo. Internationally, he has been a visiting professor in the Doctorate in History and Theory of European Law at the Faculty of Jurisprudence of Tor Vergata University (Italy), as well as at Boston College Law School (United States). He is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Prudentia Iuris Journal of the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina. He was a fellow of the International Course for Deans of Latin America in 2015 and 2016, organised and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst- DAAD). At the national level, he has been Director of the Office of Transparency and Health Advocacy in Lima, Peru, and representative of the Peruvian Delegation to the United Nations Annual Ministerial Review in New York in 2010. He was Director of the Department of Legal Sciences at the Catholic University of Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo in Chiclayo. He has been Dean of the Faculty of Law at the Catholic University of San Pablo in Arequipa and is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Law and Political Science at the same university.
